Servers

Servers is a standard configuration interface for viewing the broker-level configuration options of an Assure1 server, and how an installation can be updated to using newer packages. See the Updating Assure1 guide for additional information.

This user interface calls REST methods from api/broker/servers.

The UI path for this interface is Configuration -> Broker Control -> Servers.

Grid Details

The interface has custom buttons needed for updating an installation:

  • Update Server(s) - This button can be used to install updates on the server(s) that are selected. See the Updating Assure1 guide for additional information on how to install updates.

  • Update Roles - This button can be used to install additional roles on a server. This is similar to using the Package application with the install-role argument.

Form Fields

  • Custom Name - Enter a custom name used for the Assure1 Server.

  • Primary Server - If a server is a backup, the primary server must be selected here.

  • Log Rotate Count - The maximum number of log files to keep, not including the current log file.

  • Log Rotate Size (MB) - The minimum size (in megabytes) the log file must reach before it is rotated.

  • Broker Log Level - The log level used by the broker.

  • Broker Threads - The number of threads created by the broker applications.

  • Broker Status - The status of the broker.
