Users

Users is a standard configuration interface for individual user accounts of Assure1. This is also where Administrators can reset passwords manually or change user information.

Refer to the Standard Configuration Interface guide for details on interacting with the grid and form.

This user interface calls REST methods from api/AAA/users.

The UI path for this interface is Configuration -> AAA -> Users.

Best Practices

  • When using LDAP or RADIUS authentication, the Username must match an entry in LDAP or RADIUS server.

  • For internally authenticated multi-tenant portal functionality, Assure1 recommends using email addresses as usernames.

  • The Password/Repeat Password/Force Password Change fields will only be visible if Authentication Type is set to Internal.

  • The Password Expiration field will only be visible if Force Password Change is set to After Date.
